Our team of mental health professionals has been helping people deal with serious challenges for several years now. SoCal Empowered has two locations in Orange County, California, and we are both excited and ready to get to work on our new facility in Idaho. Our mental health blog will be updated regularly, so we hope that you’ll continue to come back and check out the latest news and information that could be of help to you or a loved one who is having a hard time.
In the meantime, we’d like to offer a bit of insight into how we do things. We are a residential mental health treatment center that works with people who are struggling with a variety of different challenges. These include:
- Adult ADHD
- Anxiety
- Bipolar Disorder
- Depression
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Schizophrenia Spectrum
- Co-Occurring Disorders
- Dissociative Disorders
- Personality Disorders
We provide evidence-based treatments in both individual and group settings for those who come to stay with us. Ours is not a cookie-cutter approach, but rather we work with and get to know every individual who comes to us for help.
How We Are Different
As you visit our Idaho mental health blog, we hope that you’ll come to see how we are different with respect to our approach. Below are just a few examples of what people have told us over the years when they’ve contacted us:
We Look for the Best Fit
When you contact us looking for answers, that’s exactly what we’re going to give you. We will listen to your situation and work with you to find the best solution for your current challenges. That may involve a stay with us, or it may be best for you or a loved one to engage another resource for help. If it’s the latter, we will help you connect with that resource.
What we will NOT do is attempt to sell you anything, or convince you to come stay with us if we don’t think there’s a good chance that doing so could help you. If you take a look at our testimonials from our other locations, you’ll see person after person talking about how we focus solely on the people who stay with us, and never anything else.
We Deal With Your Insurance Company For You
SoCal Empowered is an in-network provider of mental health services for a wide array of insurance carriers. We also work with a large number of other insurance companies on an out-of-network basis. Even if you don’t have insurance, we can work with you on a cash pay basis if that’s a realistic option.
Whether your insurance is one we are in-network with or not, we will contact them for you in order to determine coverage. That provides everyone with much-needed clarity regarding any financial exposure. We work to eliminate any ambiguity and surprises before you commit to a stay with us in Idaho. All we need to do that is your name, date of birth and insurance coverage information. We’ll take it from there.
We Keep Things Small, Safe and Calm
Our mental health facility in Idaho Falls contains 6 beds. When we are full, we are full. We have people stay with us for as long as it takes, but the average stay is usually between 30 and 45 days. We don’t want more than 6 people staying with us at a time because we want to be able to dedicate as many of our professional resources to every person as possible.
When you stay with us, you are not a number – you are a person who needs our help. We respect that by keeping the ratio small. Almost immediately after you arrive, we will all know your name, the nature of the battle you are fighting and the type of help you need.
We Work For Long-Term Improvement
While much of our work with people involves crisis stabilization at the outset, our vision is much wider than simply dealing with the immediate. We spend our time with you working towards understanding your challenges and helping you learn coping mechanisms and other strategies that will help you get back into life as quickly and as happily as possible.
We want you or your loved one to walk out of our facility in Idaho Falls with a deep understanding not only of what happened, but what should happen looking forward. Mental health challenges never just go away, but we’ve seen time and time again that when people acquire the right knowledge and skills for self-management, they can be successful in dealing with those difficulties.
